Several Hollywood faces are familiar with Islam’s sacred book Holy Quran, as the word of Allah SWT serves as source of spiritual guidance and inspiration for billions. Hollywood star Will Smith is the latest to share Quran’s profound impact on his life.
Men in Black star recently appeared in Big Time Podcast along with Amr Adeeb on the Saudi Shahid platform, and he praised Quran and other holy books that helped him.
In his search for solace and insight, Will said he immersed himself in various religious texts, including the Holy Quran.
Expressing his love for Quran, the Bad Boy star discussed his pursuit of inner peace. He mentioned reading the Quran from start to end during Ramadan this year.
Smith said he was inspired by Holy Quran’s simplicity and clarity, calling it a source of enlightenment. He also praised its ability to convey profound truths clearly.
He found Quran’s portrayal of Prophet Moses particularly moving, acknowledging the links of religious scriptures across different faiths.
Smith also sheds light on Quran’s teachings on individual responsibility, saying “Every soul is responsible for itself,” highlighting Islam’s guidance in nurturing his children and encouraging their independence.
The actor is in Saudi Arabia nowadays and he expressed his affection for the Kingdom. “I enjoy my life here and feel like I belong here,” Will said, appreciating the warmth and hospitality of the Saudi people.
