Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik has stated that a framework has been devised to save fifty percent of the country’s total population, comprising poorest of the poor, from the gas price hike.
Talking to a private news channel, he said suggestions have been presented to the Prime Minister in this regard which will not only satisfy the IMF but also the general populace. Musadik Malik said the government will be able very soon to cut down circular debt and fix problems in gas sector.—INP
