The district administration cracked down on the peoples violating Corona SOPs, sealed a total of more than 50 shops in the city and imposed heavy fines. Teams under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Shalimar sealed off four shops. During checking of AC Model Town Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha, 17 shops on Shanghai Bridge Ferozepur Road were sealed. Assistant Commissioner Cantt Zahir Shakir took action against 18 restaurants, marquees and shops. Fined worth Rs 45,000 for non-compliance and overcharging were imposed on different violators. Action was taken against Uniform Book Shop, Habib Property Dealer, Usman Cloth, Al Madina Suites, International Hair Fashion, Khan Electronic in Cantt Tehsil.
AC City Faizan Ahmed sealed 10 shops. Action was taken against Pak Madina Malik Shop, Ibrahim Malik Shop, Leopard Courier, Little Hearts Garments and Hafiz Sweets in Tehsil City. Waqas Pan Shop, Hafiz Pan Shop, Abdul Majeed Teka, Shahbaz Teka and Alif Department Store were sealed. The operations took place in Gulshan-e-Ravi, Thokar and Dhalnawal bazaars. In Shalimar Tehsil, Smoke Age Pan Shop, Haji Faisal Pan Shop, Amjad Mobile Center and Sabzwari Pan Shop were sealed.
