Hazara University has joined hands with the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA), to embark on a collaborative journey towards improving various energy sources through the integration of cutting-edge technology.
Hazara University Manserha and NEECA inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), underscoring their mutual commitment, endorsed by the Vice Chancellor of Hazara University, Professor Dr. Mohsin Nawaz, and the Managing Director of NEECA, Dr. Sardar Mazhar. The partnership between Hazara University and NEECA spans a five-year duration.
This collaboration effort aimed the way for the implementation of Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technology within the energy sector. This technology promises to enhance the preservation of Pakistan’s diverse energy sources while promoting their efficient utilization.
The MoU also outlines a framework through which the IT department of Hazara University and NEECA will explore a platform of cooperation. This includes the application of LPWAN technology in computer technology and fostering collaboration across various scientific domains.
In order to effectively realize their shared goals, both institutions are seeking financial support from national and international entities. Hazara University will offer aspiring students opportunities through internships across its diverse academic departments.
