Govt unable to recognize role of auto industry

Mashood Khan, Director Export , Mehran Commercial Enterprises said that auto industry is based on three triangles like Auto parts manufacturers (APM), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and 3s Registered Dealers Network. APM asked the government to abolish ACD, ASD from imported raw materials, OEM suggested to remove FED and minimum turn over tax from 1.5% to 0.5% and lastly 3s registered dealers requested to defer NIC at the time of buying at least 01 year. Nothing is provided in this budget and manufacturing has to face hard times to revive the industry.He talking to media after budget.
Mashood said that local industry players have been totally ignored and the government is not able to recognize the role which auto industry can play and contribute to the ex chequer. How the new investors will enter into this country having nothing to attract. Who needs trust and confidence to be built up by the government.
