The Punjab government on Monday unveiled plans to connect Band Road with Ring Road, marking a substantial infrastructure project in the provincial capital.
Under this initiative, a tender would be opened for the project, and six construction companies had already been pre-qualified by the relevant authorities. The qualified companies were provided with the requisite documentation to submit their tenders. The approved budget for this project exceeds a staggering 10 billion and 84 crores rupees, with a targeted completion date set for February 2024. The scope of the project entailed the construction of a 7.3-kilometer route, extending from Babu Sabu to Niazi Interchange.
