Sindh Minister for Energy, Development, and Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, announced plans to solarize all government schools across the province gradually. Speaking as the chief guest at the All-Sindh Science and Arts Gala at the PAF Museum, Shah emphasized the government’s commitment to providing a stable and conducive learning environment for students.

The event, held under the theme “Stability of Pakistan”, was organized by the Directorate of Private Schools Education Sindh and the All-Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Education. Other notable speakers included Chief Organizer Paigham Pakistan Sindh, Allama Sajjad Tanoli, and Chairman of All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association, Syed Haider Ali. Minister Nasir Shah highlighted the government’s plan to assist private schools in adopting solar energy.

He said, “Our goal is to ensure students can focus on their education and exams without disruptions caused by power outages.” He assured that the Sindh government would offer full support to private schools in transitioning to solar power.

Emphasizing the importance of teachers in shaping the nation’s future, Shah remarked, “It is the responsibility of teachers to educate students about Pakistan’s history and foster a sense of positive awareness. Today’s message for our future builders is the stability of Pakistan.” Shah praised the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership, including former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, for prioritizing education and working toward a brighter future for the country.

“The situation is steadily improving, with new employment opportunities emerging and foreign investors showing interest in Pakistan,” he added. The minister also outlined efforts by the Sindh government to combat load shedding and reduce electricity overbilling. “We are committed to providing affordable electricity to the people, ensuring peace and stability in the province,” he stated. Shah paid tribute to the sacrifices of the country’s armed forces, Rangers, and police personnel, acknowledging their role in maintaining peace and eradicating terrorism.

“These brave individuals are laying down their lives daily for the nation, and their sacrifices will not go in vain,” he said. Nasir Shah distributed awards to the winning students of the competition and generously gave cash prizes from his own pocket. The gala celebrated the talent and creativity of students, furthering the government’s commitment to fostering educational excellence in Sindh.
