Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori has extended an invitation to investors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to invest in the province, ensuring them of the government’s full support and assistance. This statement was made during a meeting with the UAE Ambassador Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi. Upon his arrival at the UAE Embassy in Islamabad, Governor Tessori received a warm welcome from Ambassador Alzaabi.
The two held a one-on-one meeting discussing bilateral relations, trade enhancement, investment, and other key issues. The conversation also touched on foreign investment in Sindh under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Governor Tessori emphasized that 60% of Pakistan’s population consists of youth and the government is committed to equipping them with skills and empowering them. “With modern IT courses being offered at the Governor’s House, our youth will become self-reliant,” he stated.
He highlighted agriculture, energy, and other sectors in Sindh as attractive for investment. “I invite UAE investors to invest in our province and assure them of all possible support and cooperation,” said Tessori. He further pointed out that the educated, experienced, hardworking, and young workforce is crucial for investment. Ambassador Alzaabi remarked that the IT courses will drive the youth towards technology and expressed strong interest from UAE investors in various sectors of Sindh.
