KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed an upward trajectory in light of big hike in international market.
With latest tweaks, the cost of 24-carat gold per tola soared to Rs222,800, after single-day rise of Rs2,200.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of bullion saw an increase of Rs1,885, and the new rate settled at Rs191,015.
For 22 Karat Gold, the price of each tola stands at Rs201,020, 21 karat rate per tola reached Rs191,890 and 18k gold rate is Rs164,475.
The yellow metal bounced back after a brief plunge in the local market, despite the crackdown and new mechanism of setting new prices.
Globally, the yellow metal continued an upward trend in the international market and it hovered at $2,075 per ounce.
