KARACHI – Gold prices witnessed an upward trend in the domestic market of Pakistan in line with rising international prices.
According to Sarafa Association the per tola gold price increased by Rs1,000 to settle at Rs215,100. The price of the 10-gram gold surged by Rs858 to reach Rs184,414.
In the international market, the price of gold went up by $16 to settle at $2,056.
A day earlier, the per tola price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs100 to settle at Rs215,300 while the price of the 10-gram gold went up by Rs85 to reach Rs184,585 in the local market.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged as Rs2,570 per tola and Rs2,203.36 per 10 grams.
