Gold price up to Rs90,800 per 10gm

Gold price spiked to over two-week highs at $1795 per ounce before dropping a little and increased over 0.25 percent in the international market as of 13:20 GMT on Monday.

Gold was available in the international market at $1792.70 per ounce with a gain of $4.40.Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal in Pakistan increased to Rs90,800 with a gain of Rs500. The closing price of yellow metal in the country remained Rs90,300 on Friday.

According to analysts, the greenback resumed its post-Non Farm payrolls (NFP) downside after a brief rebound earlier on, in response to weaker Chinese Caixin Services PMI and persisting Delta Covid strain worries.
