Gold prices moved around the $1,800 per ounce mark for the sixth trading session on Wednesday ahead of an interest rate decision by the Federal Reserve.
At 1300 hours GMT, gold in the international mar-ket was available at $1,800 per ounce after gaining $0.30 as compared to its closing value on Tuesday last.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal in Pakistan increased to Rs93,800 with a raise of Rs400. The closing prices of the yellow metal in the country remained Rs93,400 on Tuesday last.
According to experts, gold prices are currently in wait-and-see mode as traders look to the Fed for clues on the precious metal’s next big move. —TLTP
