KARACHI – The price of gold fell by Rs1,200 per tola in the local market and was recorded at Rs217,000 per tola on Friday.
This decline was in line with the decrease in the international rate of gold, which was set at $2,058 per ounce after a decrease of $9 in the global market.
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association said that the 10-gram gold was priced at Rs186,043 after a decrease of Rs1,028. It is worth noting that gold prices in Pakistan had also decreased by Rs1,800 per tola on Thursday.
