A girl, with connivance of her mother and lover, killed her father over opposing her love marriage. According to police, all the four accused including Saira, daughter of the deceased Arshad, his wife Sajida alias Gogi, Muazam Ali and Irfan have been arrested. The officials informed that during preliminary investigation, Saira has confessed to the murder. She told the investigators that she wanted to marry with her cousin Muazam but her father was opposed to the marriage.
To remove her father from the way, she and her mother colluded with Muazam and stole the deceased’s pistol to give it to Muazam who onward handed it over to his friend Irfan. They shot Arshad dead near his house and attempted to portray the incident as murder on resistance during dacoity. –Monitoring Desk
They also staged protests to divert police attention but the police managed to reach to the culprits. The police have recovered the pistol and bike used the crime.
