Ghani meets Polish investors for eco-friendly solutions

In a move to enhance environmental sustainability and access to clean water in Sindh, Provincial Minister for Local Government, Housing, Town Planning, and Public Health Engineering, SaeedGhani, met with a delegation of Polish investors. This meeting was held under the directives of the Chief Minister of Sindh and included high-ranking officials such as Najam Shah, Chairman of Planning and Development Sindh; Syed Khalid Haider Shah, Additional Chief Secretary Sindh; SuhailQureshi, Secretary of Public Health Engineering Sindh; Imtiaz Shah, Managing Director of Sindh Solid Waste; and Salahuddin, CEO of the Water Board.

During the meeting, the Polish companies showcased advanced technologies for providing clean drinking water, water treatment plants, reducing environmental pollution, and generating electricity from biochemicals. SaeedGhani emphasized the need for adopting technologies that can purify water without the use of electricity, especially beneficial for rural areas.

The Polish investors explained that their technologies, which operate without electricity, could significantly promote sectors such as clean water, water treatment, coal-based power generation, climate gardens, rain gardens, environmental monitoring stations, and biogas.

The use of these eco-friendly technologies not only promises advancements in these critical areas but also aims to make the province more environmentally sustainable. This collaboration marks a significant step towards integrating modern, green technologies in Sindh’s development initiatives, potentially transforming the province’s environmental landscape.
