Administrator Laiq Ahmed has said that All Pakistan Fruits, Flowers and Vegetable Show is being organized at Bagh IbneQasim from March 19, which will be the resumption of this traditional flower show held in Karachi in the past
. This is an important step towards providing positive and healthy recreational facilities to the citizens.
In future, holding such large and important flower shows will be made a success with the participation of important and experienced institutions related to gardens and horticulture.
He said this while reviewing the arrangements of All Pakistan Fruits, Flowers and Vegetable Show under the Parks Department of Karachi Metropolitan Municipality.
The Administrator directed the Director General Parks to ensure maximum participation of citizens in the flower show.
To ensure and provide all facilities to the participants, the Karachi Municipal Parks Department has approached various major and important horticulture and horticulture organizations for organizing a quality and full flower show for the citizens during the current tree planting drive.
Chairman Horticulture Society of Pakistan Faheem Siddiqui, General Secretary Commodore (Retd) Ashfaq Baig, Director General Parks and Horticulture Taha Saleem, Director Parks Junaidullah, members of Horticulture Society of Pakistan and other officers of Parks Department were also present.
