A delegation of office bearers of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry led by Head FPCCI capital office Islamabad, Haji Qurban Ali called on Ambassador of Iran Muhammad Ali Hussaini in his office on Sunday.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral trade, Transit Trade, mutual flight operations, exchange of trade delegations and Gwadar and Makran Electric supply and other businesses and trade matters came under discussions.
Haji Qurban Ali and Mir Naveed Jan Baloch noticed Iran Ambassador to focus on that due to disconnection of electrification from Iran has brought our Businesses and investors in big loss and also discussed mutual problems faced by both sides businessmen, and Ambassador committed to resolve the problem of electrification as soon as possible.
They said that Iran and Pakistan are old friends in the region not only friends but have lots of mutual interests in religion and culture as well.
But the need of time is to enhance the trade relation between both countries so the trade and business activities can be activate and generate all type of regional Businesses in the CPEC region.
The meeting ended in a very business friendly environment as well and Ambassador of Iran and FPCCI understanding valued that much the meeting was taken up in even High ups of both countries, and in a day after meeting ended the electric supply has been functional and rehabilitate Iran Promise at government level to provide more electric in Gwadar region soon.
An important factor of trade relation enhancement with mutual understanding was also on board, to take up Chabahar port functional. As Gwadar and Chabahar both need to be functional and operational equally.
And to take up private sector of both sides on board and in loop for exchange of businesses so the hurdles can be removed with mutual understanding automatically.
