Former Pak envoy to US visits PAL

Former Ambassador of Pakistan to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the United States (US) and ex-President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Ambassador Masood Ahmed Khan visited the Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) and held a meeting with Chairperson of the PAL DrNajibaArif.

Being a bibliophile, Ambassador Masood Khan expressed his keen interest in various projects and publications of the PAL and the overall literary scenario of the country.

Masood Ahmed Khan said that he had been an avid reader of Urdu Literature. Chairperson PAL briefed him about the current projects of the PAL particularly the project of translations of world literature into Urdu and other Pakistani languages. Masood Ahmed Khan appreciated the PAL’s efforts in promoting literature and literary activities in the country. She also presented a set of the PAL publications to the respected guest.
