Former Navy Chief Yastur Ul Haq Malik Passes Away

LAHORE – Former Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Yastur ul Haq Malik passed away in Lahore on Wednesday.

Admiral Yastur ul Haq Malik was commissioned into the Pakistan Navy in 1954 and served in the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars.

Admiral Yastur ul Haq Malik served as the Chief of Naval Staff from 1988 to 1991.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari expressed their condolences on the death of the former Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Yastur ul Haq.

The PM said that Admiral Yastur ul Haq Malik’s services for the country’s defense and security are unforgettable.
