On the occasion of the martyrdom day (March 20) of the great hero of the freedom movement, Surahiya Badshah Pir Sibghatullah Rashidi, demonstrations were held in the major cities of Sindh, Karachi, Hyderabad and Tando Adam from the platform of Pasban Democratic Party. During the massacre of Haras, the British government was demanded to apologize officially and pay compensation to the affected families.

Meanwhile, there was also a demand to ask the British government about the final resting place of Surahiya Badshah. Addressing the demonstration held outside the Karachi Press Club on this occasion, Pasban Democratic Party Chairman Altaf Shakoor said that forgetting the history of Pakistan and the struggle for independenceo r not including in the curriculum is tantamount to accepting slavery. This crime cannot be forgiven by jealous Pakistanis. Especially forgetting the heroes of the freedom struggle is a serious injustice to them.

The history of freedom struggle is scattered on the pages of history. There is a need for Pakistan’s intellectuals, journalists, media persons, anchor persons, politicians and educationists to sit together. Enlighten the new generation with this bright history and struggle. If the rulers want to unite the people in the country, tell them about the achievements of the ancestors.

The deeds of AllamaIqbal, Quaid-e-Azam, Surahiya Badshah and the heroes who sacrificed in the cause of freedom should be brought to the fore to end the rebellion arising from different places.Programs, seminars should be conducted on his life and our new generation should be told about him.

The country can now be saved only by generations of freedom struggle heroes. Traitors sitting in assemblies cannot save. Loyalty to the British is in the blood of the Wadira royals occupying the halls of power and the Brajmanelectables in Parliament. These are the traitors who licked the soles of the British and bathed their dogs. In return, they were rewarded with huge estates.

The younger generation should be guided in the right direction so that they are able to take the reins of the country. The young generation is unaware of the achievements of their predecessors. Pasban has taken up this task and under the leadership of Altaf Shakoor is continuously enlightening the public about these bright aspects of history. As a result of this struggle, the derailed vehicle of the country can get back on track.

In the demonstration, Engineer Irfan Syed, Vice Chairman of Pasban Abdul Hakim Quaid, Leaders of Karachi SardarZulfiqar, MianRiaz, Kaleemullah Malik, Noorul Amin, TahseenBaloch, Arshad Sheikh, SajawalMarwat, Sajid Khan, JavedIqbal, Fazal Rabi Khan, AkhtarQureshi, AkramAgria, Kaleemullah, Abdul Qayyum, Rizwan-ul-Haq, Khalid Durrani, Shahid Mayo, Ramiz, Javed, Waqas Ahmed, HamzaAwan, Saeedil, Abdul Samad, Ibrahim, EjazBaloch, Mootal Khan, Haji Iqbal, Khalid Siddiqui Advocate, Tahir Shah, Javed.
