Armed terrorists Wednesday ambushed a couple of Police Stations in Lakki Marwat with sophisticated weapons, though the Security Forces effectively managed to repulse the offensives with out sustaing any loss.
Reports reaching here said the miscreants armed with rocket launchers and sophisticated weaponry, targeted the police station in Ghazni and later ShehbazKhel Police station.
‘Swift action by the police officials compelled the attackers to retreat, and no casualties were reported in the ensuing confrontation,” the Police authorities claimed.
The security forces are reported to have kicked off search and net operation in the area following the attack. Yet the attackers remained at large.
