KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for Karachi and most parts of Sindh during the next two days.
According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is likely to approach the upper parts of the country. Low-level easterlies are also penetrating in northeastern Punjab, Kashmir and adjoining areas.
Under these conditions, dry weather is expected across Sindh on Tuesday night and the next two days.
Fog is likely to prevail in Jacobabad, Dadu, Ghotki, Larkana and Sukkur during morning hours.
In Karachi, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 16-18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in most parts of the province during the last 24 hours.
Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 10 C.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 17 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 35 per cent.
