The office bearers of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Mardan chapter said that the rising inflation, flour crisis is due to the tussle between provincial and federal government both the government has ignored the masses and is struggling for power.
Addressing to a news conference at Mardan press club JI district Amir Ghulam Rasool, Naib Amir Dr Ataur Rehman, Attaur Rehman advocate and other office bearers said that the same people are ruling the country from the last seventy years and cheated the people on the name of change and other slogans. Speakers said that in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is in power, however the price of flour is different in both provinces.
They said that the acute shortage and unbearable prices of flour have made life miserable for the people of the province. Speakers said that due to the self-interested policies of the rulers today the poor are suffering from inflation. They added that this group who remained in power has made life difficult for the poor people through the storm of artificial crisis and inflation.
They added that it has become difficult for middle-class people to make both ends meet and let alone poor people. They demanded the provincial government to immediately increase the quota of subsidized flour. The JI office bearers announced that on 12th January JI will staged protest rally at Kachari chowk and other tehsil of Mardan district against inflation and the artificial crisis of flour.
