Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday has arrested the person who blackmailed the famous TikTok star Janat Mirza. The accused had posted different obnoxious posts online and tried to defame her by making amendments in the photos of star.
The accused confessed that he was ashamed of his actions. He had edited the photos and sent them only to Sahar and the purpose was to scare her. He did not make the photos viral on social media or sent to anyone else. FIA officials said that a case has been registered against the accused and the matter is being investigated.
On the other hand, Janat Mirza’s sister Sahar Mirza had requested the FIA to take action after her photos surfaced on social media. Sahar Mirza had said in her application that she is a student of GC University Faisalabad. She became friends with Asfandyar on Facebook.
Both of them promised to get married but when Sahar Mirza refused to get married, the accused took pictures. Edited and made viral on social media. It is to be noted that the accused had claimed to have posted pictures on behalf of Asfandyar. TikTok Star had registered a case in this regard in the Cyber Crime Division. The FIA arrested the accused along with 2 other accomplices from Lahore.
