FFC wins award

Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC’s) Annual Report 2018 has been declared overall winner in the “Manufacturing Sector” of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Best Annual Report Awards 2018. The Company has also been awarded with two Merit Certificates in the categories of “Corporate Governance” and “Integrated Reporting”. These awards are conferred by SAFA on the basis of evaluation of the published annual reports by its Committee for the promotion of Transparency, Accountability and Governance, of entities from South Asian Countries. Mr. Mohammad Munir Malik, Chief Financial Officer of the Company received these awards in an august ceremony held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on November 30, 2019. Earlier this year, the Company’s Annual Report 2018 had also secured “Overall Top Position” in the Best Corporate Report Award competition held by the joint committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan, for the 12th time since inception of these awards, besides being awarded “1st place in Chemical and Fertilizer Sector” for the 15th time since the start of the competition in the year 2000.
