The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman Wednesday urged Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) tribal districts chapter to prepare a fact based report on the situation the tribal districts passed through during last 40 years to inform the world about worst crisis.
Presiding over the 4th annual general meeting of PRCS (Merged Areas) here at Governor House, he said whatever happened was not an indigenous issue rather it was imposed on us and as a result of it we faced huge losses. He said that despite giving refuge to over six million Afghan refugees, who were not acceptable to any developed country, we are still giving explanations to world community.
He said, being services provider in the field of humanity with good will and devotion, PRCS knows well about the ground realities in its working areas and those realities need to be highlighted in front of world community. He said the country in general and merged tribal districts in particular are passing through a critical period and it calls for unity, endurance and maturity on part of all of us to bring back normalcy, peace, stability.
