The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday filed a reference against former president Asif Ali Zardari over Rs8.3 billion transactions through fake bank accounts.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and a former employee of the President House, Mushtaq Ahmed, have been named as accused in the reference filed before an accountability court.
The NAB has so far filed 11 references against different suspects in the fake accounts case. According to the reference, an illegal transaction of Rs8.3 took place between Mushtaq Ahmed and a private housing society. —TLTP
