Earthquake of 4.3 magnitude hits Balochistan’s Khuzdar

QUETTA – An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 shook the Khuzdar district of Balochistan last night.

The quake’s epicenter was near Khuzdar, with a depth of 27 kilometers.

Although residents were alarmed, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage so far.

Similarly, Zhob district experienced a 3.6 magnitude quake with no reported harm.

Earlier seismic activity has been felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and surrounding areas, with tremors also felt in districts like Kohat, Lower Dir, and Chitral.

A 5.3 magnitude quake originating from the Afghan-Tajikistan border caused fear and led to evacuations in various districts.
