Dry weather expected

Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, hot weather in expected in central and Southern parts during day time. Gusty winds are likely in plains and coastal areas. Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday.

Islamabad and Gilgit twelve degree centigrade, Lahore nineteen, Karachi twenty-five, Peshawar fifteen, Quetta and Muzaffarabad thirteen and Murree six degree centigrade. According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramula while cold and dry in Leh and partly cloudy in Shopian.

Temperature recorded. Srinagar, seven degree centigrade, Jammu fifteen, Leh minus four, Pulwama and Baramula four, Anantnag and Shopian five degree centigrade. Meanwhile the local Met Office has forecast dry and cold weather for the city for the next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature 34 centigrade and the lowest minimum 21 centigrade were recorded during the last 24 hours. Dry and cold weather has also been forecast for the rest of the region.—APP
