DRAP team raids syringe-manufacturing factory in Peshawar

Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has raided a banned traditional syringe manufacturing factory in Peshawar and recovered a huge quantity of syringes. DRAP Chief Executive Officer AsimRauf said that the action was taken by a federal team which raided the warehouse of Taj Company.

In this regard Federal Health Minister DrNadeem Jan said that the DRAP is continuously monitoring the market availability of banned conventional syringes.

The health minister said that the government is taking strict action against the people involved in such heinous business and is determined to eradicate fake medicines from the country as playing with people’s lives will never be allowed.DrNadeem Jan said that it is their mission to provide quality medical facilities to the people.
