Due to negligence of authorities concerned, District Central has become a hotbed of problems in North Karachi Sector 5E.
There is an urgent need to renovate the park in front of Apwa Govt Boys School. It will be done so that literary activities can be resumed.
Due to the incompetence of Director Parks North Karachi, the park was destroyed in 1999 and no action has been taken against it till December 2021.
There are many problems in North Karachi Sector 5E and no action is being taken by the District Central Municipal Commissioner to deal with them.
Since 2004, street lights have been in poor condition, and mosquito spraying has gone unnoticed for six years. Funds are urgently needed for the reconstruction of North Karachi Sector 5E so that the residents of the area can be saved from these problems.
The citizens requested Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab, Administrator Central Dr. Ali Zaidi and other senior officials to rebuild the park in North Karachi Sector 5E and establish the Abdul Bari Library.
It should also be implemented so that the people and residents of the area can take an interest in the library as well as the park, they added.
