Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari met Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at the Governor House. During the meeting, the Rangers DG apprised the Governor of other measures taken for provision of better security in Rabi-ul Awwal for processions and other sensitive places.
The Rangers DG told the Governor that the situation in the city was better now. Governor Ismail said that peace was restored in the city due to joint and collaborative efforts.
Due to decline in crimes the economic stability was also restored in the metropolis. He said Rabi-ul Awwal was the holy month for Muslims; it was our collective responsibility to maintain religious harmony during the holy month.
