DC reviews water flow at Qadirabad Barrage

Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warriach visited Qadirabad Barrage and reviewed flow of water, machinery and protective band, arrival and discharge of water in the Barrage. On this occasion, DC said that water in the river was flowing as usual and there was no danger of flood, however, all flood relief camps and boating points would remain functional.

On the other hand International Population Day was observed in district Hafizabad, on Tuesday. In this connection, a seminar and awareness walk held at District Complex. ADCR Imtiaz Ali Baig, Assistant Commissioner HR and Coordination Ishfaq Rasul, DO Population Welfare Hafizabad Madam Sajjida Mushtaq, officials of different departments and women attended the Seminar and Walk.

Addressing the seminar, speakers said that unlimited increase of population is major cause of national problems and increasing population is eating available resources. They said that internal in birth of children was inevitable for batter health of mother and child as well as bright future of our new generation. Assistant Commissioner HR and Coordination Ishfaq Rasul, DO Population Welfare Hafizabad Madam Sajjida Mushtaq, officials of different departments and women attended the Seminar and Walk.
