Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Naveed Shahzad Mirza has said that foolproof security arrangements are being finalised to ensure peace in the district during holy month of Muharram according to the priority of the government. He was talking to mediamen after visiting routs of processions in the city ob Friday. District Police Officer Hafizabad, Sajid Kaini, Assistant Commissioner Abbas Zulqarnain, DSP Muhammad Khalid, journalists and Members of District Peace Committee were also accompanied by him during the visit. DC said that ideal interfaith harmony was prevailed in the district already and this atmosphere of peace and tranquility would be ensured at all cost while miscreants and anti-social elements would be dealt with iron hands. He said that Ulema belongs to all sects were played their vital role to maintain law and order in the district during holy month of Muharram always which was laudable.
