FAISALABAD – At least eight people got injured after roofs of two houses collapsed due to explosion of the gas cylinder in a village in Faisalabad district on Wednesday.
The tragic incident took place near Chak 202 Gate.
The rescue workers said that explosion was so powerful that it caused damage to the roofs of two adjacent houses. As a result, the residents including a family of five found themselves trapped beneath the rubble.
Luckily, the residents suffered only minor injuries. However, three others received serious injuries who were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical care.
The rescue workers reached the spot soon after they received the call and started their operation to save the victims.
In a similar attack few days ago in Quetta, three people lost their lives while two others got injured. The gas cylinder took place on Quetta Airport road.
