The Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday apprehended two alleged terrorists belonging to Al-Qaeda from Jallo Pind area of the provincial metropolis.
According to a CTD spokesperson, the alleged terrorists arrested from Jallo Pind are identified as Abdul Manan and Imran. They were plotting to launch subversive activities during Muharram, he added.
The CTD also recovered ammunition from the terrorists. Both the suspects have been shifted to an unidentified location for further investigation.
