CS reviews ongoing police operation in Kacha areas

A key meeting to review the law and order situation in the Kacha area chaired by the Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah was held on Thursday. The meeting was attended by IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, Commissioner Sukkur, DIG Sukkur, Commissioner Larkana, and DIG Larkana.

The meeting, detailed discussions were held on the ongoing police operations in the Kacha area and their outcomes. IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon briefed the attendees, stating that the police had achieved significant successes in the Kacha region since January. He reported that 76 criminals had been killed, 115 wounded, and 363 arrested during the operations. He further highlighted that several areas had been cleared of criminals, leading to substantial progress in restoring law and order. Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah praised the police’s efforts .
