At least two people were killed and three others sustained serious injuries during a CNG cylinder blast in the provincial metropolis on Friday morning.
Those killed include a women and a minor girl.
According to reports the dreadful incident took place in Khazana area of Peshawar.
The blast occured while filling process at the CNG station in the vehicle was in progress.
“A woman and a minor girl were killed while three others were severely wounded as blast occurred in a car during Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling process at a gas station in the outskirts of Peshawar”. Officials said.
The security personnel immediately rushed to the site of the blast and shifted the victims to the Lady Reading Hospital for medical assistance where the medics pronounced a lady and a minor girl dead.
The officials said that investigation into the incident has been initiated.
