Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon said on Monday that the Sindh government had given top priority to the provision of health related facilities in hospitals across the province and for the same purpose, medical facilities in government hospitals in Thatta district were also being improved.

He said this on the occasion of a surprised visit to Civil Hospital Makli. CM aide Memon also visited the emergency ward of Civil Hospital Makli and other wards.

He also inquired wellbeing of the patients admitted there and asked them about facilities being provided there.

Taking special note of the shortage of medicines and oxygen cylinders, Memon directed the Medical Superintendent of the hospital to address the shortage immediately.

He said that no negligence would be tolerated in providing medicines and other facilities to the patients.

“Our primary goal should be to save human lives and provide better services to patients,” he said.

The patients admitted in the hospital thanked SACM on DEPD Sindh Sadiq Ali Memon for taking personal interest and improving the provision of facilities.
