LAHORE – Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Justice Aalia Neelum on Monday made a MAJOR decision by dismissing a female civil judge from the job and imposing various penalties on two judicial officers involved in corruption and other crimes.
Following the Chief Justice’s approval, a notification was issued announcing the penalties for the three judges. Under this notification, Civil Judge Shazia Parveen was dismissed from her job, Civil Judge Shahbaz Hussain was demoted by four grades while Additional Session Judge Abdullah Usman was fined.
The Chief Justice announced the decisions after considering the evidence and hearing from the judicial officers, who faced charges related to corruption and other offenses.
