The Christian community in the metropolis has staged a protest in front of the Karachi Press Club today against the alleged abduction and rape of a 13-year old girl after being converted to Islam.
According to details, the protestors took to the streets and were holding placards while shouting slogans against the government.
The protestors strongly condemned what they declared an act of kidnapping and forceful conversion of Arzoo Masih. They said, “We are a peaceful community and do not have a tribal backing, therefore we are considered to be soft targets.”
Earlier, the 13-year-old Christian girl was abducted outside of her home in Karachi’s St. Anthony’s Parish.
