The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Chairman Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi called on Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at Governor House. During the meeting, KPT’s role in the country’s economy, importance of port in exports and imports, measures to further improve its performance and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Governor Sindh said that KPT has strategic importance in terms of trade activities, adding that this port is used for a large part of the country’s exports and imports. Kamran Khan Tessori said that more steps are needed to enhance the capacity of KPT. Earlier, Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi briefed the Governor about the performance of Karachi Port Trust.
