CEIF IMSciences conducts Islamic Banking, Finance Summer School and product expo

CEIF IMSciences successfully conducted 6th Islamic banking and finance summer school and expo at Nathiagali from 29-31 July, 2022. The aim of summer school is to bring the regulators, practitioners and academicians together and explore viable solutions for a riba-free economy in Pakistan.

Dr. Ishrat Hussain acknowledged the importance of Industry and academia interaction and valued the role played by CEIF-IMSciences. Dr Amjad Saqib in his presentation highlighted the role of akhuwat in social uplifting of financially-excluded strata of society through different schemes including interest-free loans, which is the main essence of Islamic financial system.

In addition, a variety of topics from Islamic banking and finance were presented by speakers from regulator, industry and academia. At the end, Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Khan, Director IMSciences congratulated team of CEIF IMSciences for arranging the summer school successfully and thanked the regulators, industry and faculty from other business schools for their participation.
