Capt Akash’s mother writes book on son

The book launching ceremony on Capt Akash Aftab Rabbani Shaheed of Zarb-e-Azab, will be held today (Feb 7) at DeSOM at 3 pm.
The book has been written by his mother. Capt Akash was killed in exchange of fire with militants in the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb in Mirali tehsil of North Waziristan Agency.
Capt Akash, the youngest son of Dr Aftab Rabbani, the head of medicines department in Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad, joined army as a member of 123 long course and passed out from Kakul in 2011. to Capt Akaash & his family.
He was posted in 47 Artillery and after two years he was selected for the training of Special Services Group. Later he was posted at Tarbela from where he was selected for the special task force posted in North Waziristan.
