The Safe City E-Challan system has been integrated with the EasyPaisa app, allowing citizens to easily pay their Challans through Easy Paisa, JS Bank Wallet, Jazz Cash mobile apps, and NBP Digital. Strict legal action will be taken against defaulters who do not pay their challans.
According to details, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, Safe City Islamabad has ensured the implementation of traffic laws under the E-Challan system, issuing thousands of Challans for various violations so far, a public relations officer said.
He said that the teams formed by Islamabad Capital Police are ensuring the completion of challans at the registered addresses of drivers violating traffic laws to ensure the effective restoration of the city’s relevant traffic system.
Moreover, E-Challan defaulters will be deprived of all facilities provided by the police without paying their challans.
Meanwhile, E-Challan defaulters’ vehicles are being traced through Safe City cameras to fulfill legal requirements.
Additionally, the Safe City E-Challan system has been integrated with EasyPaisa, allowing citizens to pay their fines through Easy Paisa, Jazz Cash mobile app, JS Bank Wallet, and NBP Digital.
