Camp set up to provide free eye treatment

In South Waziristan Lower District of Health Committee of Wana Welfare Association (WAWA) organized a free medical camp for eye checkup at Model School Wana with the help of Consultant Optometrist and Eye Physician DHQ Hospital Wana Dr. Noor Ul Absar Wazir.

Principal Zaheer Uddin and Managing Director Mr. Saif Ur Rehman appreciated the contribution of WAWA in the field of health and informed the students about it, So how to maintain good eye sight and what food to eat for eye health and who to contact if any eye related problem. On this occasion doctors screened 500 students and the following cases were diagnosed in them. In which 10 cases of vernal kerato conjunctivitis were diagnosed while hyperetropic 5, myopia 5, dry eyes (irritation and itching) 24, near vitreous 3 cases were reported.

However, free medicines and samples were provided to the diagnosed patients.
