A boy on Friday was killed in a mine blast laid near a dam in Balochani area of Barkhan.
According to details, a boy was killed in a mine blast near the dam in Balochani area. Another person also sustained injuries as a result of the explosion. The dead body of the boy and the injured person were shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and started search operation. Meanwhile, the locals staged a protest against the absentee hospital staff and closure of emergency ward. They blocked the national highway after burning tyres.—INP
