The cryptocurrency market turned bearish amid profit taking activity on Friday, with market capitalisation shedding 3.9 percent to reach $2.17 trillion.

As of 1530 hours GMT, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s (BTC) price dipped 4.63 percent to reach $44,962. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $851.4 billion. Bitcoin has gained 2.6 percent during the last seven days. Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, went 3.98 percent down to reach $3,275. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $385.3 billion.—TLTP
