LAHORE – Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi shared revised dates for Class 9, and 10 exams that were previously postponed.
Class 9 exam, initially scheduled for September 17, has been rescheduled to September 19 due to public holiday for Eid Miladun Nabi, as stated by BISE spokesperson. Papers for Education, Hadith, History of Pakistan, and Clothing and Textiles, which will now be held on Thursday, September 19.
Class 10 supplementary exams were delayed due to a holiday in garrison city and will now be held on September 18. The subjects for these exams include Chemistry, Clothing and Textiles, Islamic History, Fiqh (Dars Nizami) Group, Science, and Physiology.
The revised roll number slips for regular candidates have been made available through their respective institution portals, while private candidates can access their slips on the BISE Rawalpindi website by entering their B-form number, online admission form number, or roll number.
These slips are also being sent to the addresses provided by private candidates on their admission forms. Examination staff at all centers have been instructed to admit students according to the new schedule, with students required to present their original roll number slips for identification.
The federal government has declared September 17 as a public holiday to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A notification from the Cabinet Division confirmed that all schools, colleges, and public and private offices will be closed on that day. The Punjab government also announced a holiday on the same date for the 12th of Rabiul Awwal.
