LAHORE – Former Pakistan Captain Babar Azam on Monday praised opener batsman Saim Ayub by calling him “Cheetah” after outstanding performance during ODI series against South Africa.
Taking to Instagram, Babar Azam shared the picture of batter Saim Ayub with a caption “Cheetah”. The pictures went viral on the social media.
Pakistan cricket team last night made a history on South African soil by whitewashing the hosts in an ODI series for the first time.
In the third and final ODI, Pakistan secured a historic 36-run victory over South Africa. Saim Ayub played a pivotal role in the win as she scored 101 runs off 91 balls. His remarkable performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
Earlier in the series, Saim also scored a century in the opening match, contributed significantly to the team’s victory. Based on his stellar performances, he was named player of the series against South Africa.
